OUR RACES
Crossing Switzerland offers an adventure of almost 400 km through some of the most iconic places in the Swiss Alps, starting in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Passing through 7 Alpine cantons, you'll reach the shores of Lake Geneva at Montreux. This majestic route is also available in EKIDEN format as a team of 3, 4 or 5 runners, with relays ranging from 8 to 76km and 3 patrol sections. A more accessible way to discover this extraordinary adventure with friends.
For Montreux Trail Festival aficionados, the 32km CROSSING RIVIERA and the 15km and 8km CROSSING ROCKS will probably bring back memories of the routes around Montreux and the finish on Clarens beach.

You can also cross the Swiss Alps as part of the CROSSING SWITZERLAND - EKIDEN. This team-relay formula offers 10 sections ranging from 76 to 8km, enabling teams of 3, 4 or 5 runners to find a terrain that best suits their individual qualities. The joint finish on the shores of Lake Geneva will undoubtedly be a great moment of sharing between the team members.

CROSSING SARINA - 75 KM - 4'000 m D+
Since 2017, you may be familiar with the MXSKY, a sort of Sierre-Zinal à la Vaudoise? This new Crossing Riviera is the younger sister, full of character and exceptional panoramas while retaining similar characteristics over around 30km.After the ascent through the old town of Montreux, which precedes the 1,055 steps of the never ending Telegraph Trail, it's on to Nirvana at over 2,000 metres at the Rochers de Naye. And it doesn't stop there? The return journey will take you through the Grottes de Naye and further around the magnificent Dent de Jaman.

CROSSING RIVIERA - 31 KM - 2'000 m D+
CROSSING FAMILY - 31 KM + 1 - 2'000 m D+
At the start on Clarens beach, your kid (up to 13 years old) passes the baton to the parent who then runs the CROSSING RIVIERA course on her/ his own, after completing 1 km next to the shore of Lac Léman. After the parent has almost completed the race, at about 900m before the finish-line, the magic duo runs together and finishes the race together at the beach of Clarens.
CROSSING ROCKS - 15 KM - 800 m D+, or 8 KM - 300 m D+
The spirit of the Giants of Music has floated over Montreux for decades, so join this event where sporting effort will be combined with good sound and rhythm throughout the course.
Start in front of the Freddie Mercury statue for the most rock'n'roll trail in Switzerland and the rest of the world. A unique experience, at dusk, to discover the 'mountain side' of the Pearl of the Riviera. Whether you're looking to immerse yourself in the world of trail running, blow your brains out, or just have fun with friends in an extraordinary musical atmosphere along the route, this is the place to be.
