A unique discovery of the Swiss Alps following the famous Via Alpina from the capital of Liechtenstein, Vaduz to Montreux. 14 Alpine passes and 8 Swiss cantons will be on the programme, as well as a wide variety of culture, geology and topography. An "Ekiden" (relay) formula is also available in teams of 3 to 5 runners. Another way to discover Switzerland with friends.
 

In addition to some of Switzerland's most visited places, such as Engelberg, the North Face of the Eiger, the Oeschinensee, Gstaad and, of course, Montreux, CROSSING SWITZERLAND is a real human adventure where the aspect of discovery is more important than the stopwatch.
 

During the second weekend (26-28 July), courses of 169km (CROSSING ALPS), 110km (CROSSING HIGHLANDS) and 69km (CROSSING SARINA) will also be offered on this "Swiss spine", starting from Lauterbrunnen, Lenk and Saanen-Gstaad.
 

For aficionados of the 'classic' Montreux Trail Festival, CROSSING RIVIERA over 32km and CROSSING ROCKS over 15 or 8km will be reminiscent of the historic MXSKY and Freddie's Night routes.
