In 2026, Crossing Switzerland will start in the heart of Heidiland,
in the historic spa town of Bad Ragaz,
at the crossroads of cultures —
near the Rhine, close to Austria, at the gateway to the mountains.

From the very first steps, there is no warm-up.
No easing in.

Leaving the town behind, runners enter directly into the wild —
the dramatic Tamina Gorge,
where stone, water and shadow carve the tone of what’s to come.

This new route sets the intention immediately:
