Just a few more days and we will be all joining in Vaduz for the start of the first edition of Crossing Switzerland. We trust that you are ready and in great form to start this amazing adventure together with around 200 runners from over 20 countries. Our organisation team, together with a large amount of volunteers during the race itself, have done everything we could to make the race a lasting positive memory for all of us.
You will visit the most beautiful sceneries and views that most people in the world, not even the Swiss itself, have seen with their own eyes. So while you are on the tracks don't forget to absorb the beauty as well.
Below we are giving you some small indications of the program of next week. Check as well our website where you can find still a lot of information (please note that the roadbook v2 takes priority over any other information).
Make sure you have read the roadbook. It's full of information that can help you and your followers during this adventure

On Monday July 25 at 13:00 Trail Hotel ( Dorfstrasse 14, 6391 Engelberg) opens its terrace to create a wonderful ambiance to welcome the runners to Engelberg. And this cannot be done with typical live Swiss music. A nice way of tasting Swiss atmosphere while supporting your runners. The hotel is situated at a few minutes from the base camp.
If you want to see the beautiful lake at almost 2'000 meter the Bergbahnen is offering the supporters and followers a nice discount to take the cable to Melchsee-Frutt. Drive to Stöckalp and park your car (or van) there for free and go up paying only 15 CHF for a return ticket.
You can hike around the lake while waiting for your runner to arrive. A unique experience awaits you!
